How to Forward AT&T Business Missed Calls to LeadTruffle
Find the right AT&T business service, set up supported no-answer forwarding and test LeadTruffle routing. Includes digital-phone activation and off codes.
Quick Answer
tl;dr: The setup depends on your AT&T business phone service. AT&T Phone for Business digital service supports no-answer forwarding with *92, the destination number and #; *93# turns it off. Wireless and other AT&T products use different instructions. Confirm your service first.
Choose the correct AT&T service
AT&T Phone for Business digital service: use the no-answer procedure below only after confirming that the feature is available on your line.
Business wireless: follow AT&T's device-specific instructions. Confirm conditional forwarding options instead of borrowing digital-service codes.
Traditional local business service: follow the instructions for that line and feature. All-call forwarding is not the same as missed-call forwarding.
IP Flexible Reach or another enterprise service: ask your administrator to review the relevant no-answer feature and permissions.
Before you start
Verify the product name in your bill or account, the impacted line and the LeadTruffle destination for the selected workflow. Make sure to save the existing forwarding and voicemail settings. Inquire with AT&T regarding feature availability, destination limitations and any fees.
Determine if you want to cover unanswered calls, cover calls when they are busy or redirect all calls. These are different behaviors.
1. Confirm the no-answer feature on Phone for Business
For AT&T Phone for Business digital service, review the official forwarding instructions and confirm that your line supports the feature.
These codes apply only to AT&T Phone for Business digital service. Do not apply them to AT&T wireless, traditional local service, or enterprise voice products.
2. Activate no-answer forwarding to the confirmed destination
From the applicable digital-service line, dial *92, enter the forwarding destination number, then press #. Follow any service prompts.
To deactivate no-answer forwarding on this service, dial *93#. Keep the previous configuration available for restoration.
Busy forwarding is separate. For the documented digital service, dial *90 plus the destination number and # to enable it, and *91# to disable it.
3. Test before relying on the route
Use an outside phone to reach the business phone line. In a normal answer, double check that your team is getting calls. Then let a call go unanswered and ensure it reaches the destination LeadTruffle experience.
Test busy and after hours behavior separately (if applicable). Test to see if the call is picked up by voicemail and if the number of the person calling is forwarded to the recipient as intended. Check the unified inbox for the interaction.
If the call is routed to the wrong number, disable the modified feature or reset the line to the way it was set up and contact AT&T for review.
What if I use wireless or enterprise voice?
For wireless, follow AT&T's device-specific forwarding guidance. Confirm whether your line supports the conditional behavior you need; do not assume digital-service codes apply.
For IP Flexible Reach, an administrator can review the enterprise No Answer feature. Availability and other enabled features may affect routing.
Confirm the LeadTruffle experience
A forwarded call may reach a configured AI voice agent or another confirmed workflow. Missed-call text back is separate and depends on caller eligibility and consent.
Confirm supported integrations before promising bookings or CRM updates. Call forwarding alone does not configure those outcomes.
FAQs
Does one code work for every AT&T business account?
No. Identify the service first. The *92 and *93# instructions here are scoped to AT&T Phone for Business digital service.
Does no-answer forwarding cover busy calls?
There is a separate Busy Handling feature. Try it out alone if necessary.
How do I stop no-answer forwarding?
For the documented digital service, dial *93#. Other products require their own deactivation instructions.
Will forwarding replace voicemail?
Forwarding can change where unanswered calls go. Test its interaction with voicemail on your line.
Is forwarding free?
Verify charges and conditions with AT&T. Do not presume that calls forwarded to you are free calls.
Build around the AT&T service you use
The digital-phone codes in this guide are a starting point for the matching AT&T service. Wireless, traditional, and enterprise lines need their own checks. A successful test should show both that your team can answer and that unanswered calls reach the intended destination.
