Call Connect
New leads ring your team's phone.
A new inquiry. A familiar ring. Your next conversation.
LeadTruffle calls your chosen employee or office with the lead details. Press 1 to call the customer and connect when they answer.
Enabled sources. Active hours. A usable customer phone.
Quick Answer
tl;dr: Call Connect rings your team for eligible new leads. Hear the details and press 1 before the customer is dialed. Choose calling hours, a team destination and the number customers see. Answered calls use regular voice credits.
A clear path to a real conversation
The lead comes in.
Your team takes it from there.
No copying numbers or piecing together the request. Hear who's calling and what they need before you decide to connect.
- 01
A new lead arrives
An enabled source sends a new inquiry with a usable customer phone number during your active hours.
- 02
Your team’s phone rings
LeadTruffle calls your chosen employee or office number. A source-specific number takes priority over your default.
- 03
Hear the details. Press 1.
The introduction announces the source, customer name and short service description when available. Your employee chooses whether to accept.
- 04
Talk to the customer
Only after acceptance does LeadTruffle dial the customer. When they answer, the two calls connect.
Your employee makes the call. The customer's phone only rings after your team accepts. If nobody presses 1, the customer isn't dialed.
Your sources. Your settings.
Choose which leads ring your team
Turn on the sources you want. Set one team number or a separate destination for each source.
Yelp
New inquiries with an available, unexpired phone number. A number supplied later must still arrive within the original eligibility window.
Thumbtack
Supported new message inquiries with a phone number. Incoming-call and consultation lead types are excluded.
Angi
Eligible new inquiries captured through your configured Angi connection, with a callable customer number.
Facebook & Instagram Lead Ads
New Lead Ads form submissions with a phone number. Facebook Messenger conversations do not trigger Call Connect.
Google LSA
Eligible message inquiries received through email forwarding. API-imported leads and inbound LSA calls do not trigger Call Connect.
Custom lead webhooks
Configured live lead-source webhooks with a mapped customer phone. Ordinary website texting and webchat widgets are not automatic triggers.
Ring the right number
A source-specific destination overrides your default. Your office or tracking number keeps its phone provider's own routing.
Call during your hours
Use your company hours and timezone or a custom schedule. One automatic attempt per inquiry, with no next-morning queue.
An active subscription, a saved active calling number and enabled company/source settings are required. Contact restrictions apply. Attempts must start within five minutes of arrival; this is an eligibility limit, not a response-time promise. Late updates and older imports do not open a new window.
Business caller ID
Your number.
On their screen.
Show your existing business number when you call.
Verify your business number, then select it as your caller ID. Keep your current phone provider and the incoming-call routing you already use.

A quick setup in Phone Settings
Verify once.
Then select your number.
- 01
Save an active calling number in Numbers & Settings.
- 02
Under Business caller ID, enter your number and choose Verify business number.
- 03
Answer the call and enter the displayed six-digit code on your phone keypad.
- 04
Select it under Number shown to contacts. Verification alone does not select it.
The managed calling number is the default customer caller ID. A team ring destination does not become caller ID automatically. Verification does not port your number, enable SMS, change inbound routing or guarantee a business-name display or removal of spam labels. Return calls follow the selected number's existing routing.
Know what happened
Every attempt has a story.
- Team answered 01
- Employee pressed 1 02
- Customer answered 03
History separates team answer, acceptance and customer answer. A phone answer can be voicemail; “connected” doesn't prove a human conversation.
Recordings follow your recording setting. Transcripts and analysis need eligible calls and recordings.
Regular voice credits
Two sides.
Clear calling usage.
Each answered side rounds up independently to a whole minute.
2 voice minutes
1 voice minute
The introduction can use credits even without acceptance. Unanswered sides use no voice minutes.

One more way
to start a conversation.
Call Connect brings eligible new inquiries to your own team. Manual Click-to-Call lets you start a call from the inbox. Your AI voice agent, lead routing and automated follow-up keep their own roles.
Ordinary lead capture, notifications, qualification and follow-up continue. Accepting a call does not pause AI, book a job or enable manual takeover.
The practical details
A few good
questions.
Whose phone rings, what happens next, and how it all fits together.
Whose phone rings?
Your chosen employee, office or tracking number rings first. Set a default team destination or a separate destination for each enabled source. Each inquiry gets one automatic attempt to one destination; there is no built-in employee hunt list.
When is the customer called?
Only after your employee hears the introduction and presses 1. Call Connect then dials the customer and connects the calls if answered. An answer can be voicemail; a connected status does not prove a human conversation.
Can I keep my phone provider?
Yes. Your team destination and verified business caller ID can use your existing provider. Verification does not port your number, change incoming-call routing or enable SMS. Return calls follow the selected number’s existing routing.
Which number does the customer see?
The LeadTruffle calling number by default, or the business number your administrator has verified and selected under Business caller ID. Your team sees the LeadTruffle calling number. Entering a team destination does not select it as caller ID.
Which sources work with Call Connect?
Yelp, supported Thumbtack message inquiries, Angi, configured custom lead webhooks, Google LSA message inquiries received through email forwarding, and Facebook or Instagram Lead Ads forms. Enable each source and supply a usable customer phone. Website texting, webchat, Facebook Messenger, historical imports and inbound LSA calls are not automatic triggers.
What if nobody answers or presses 1?
The customer is not called unless your employee accepts. There is one automatic attempt per eligible inquiry, with no automatic retry or next-morning queue. Normal lead capture, notifications, qualification and follow-up continue. You can review actual attempts in call history.
Does Call Connect use voice credits?
Yes. Each answered side is rounded up independently to a whole minute at the regular voice-credit rate. A 61-second team call and a 40-second customer call use three voice minutes. The team introduction can use credits even without acceptance. Unanswered sides use no voice minutes.
Can I choose calling hours?
Yes. Use your company’s business hours and timezone or set custom hours. Calls outside those hours are skipped. Automatic attempts must start within five minutes of the original inquiry’s arrival; that is an eligibility limit, not a promised ringing or connection time.
Less dialing. More talking.
